About the Role
We are seeking a creative and passionate Interior Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing interior design projects for residential and commercial clients, from conception to completion. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences and create design concepts that meet their expectations while ensuring functionality, safety, and adherence to industry standards.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Meet with clients to discuss their design needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
Develop design concepts, including space planning, material selection, color schemes, and lighting.
Create detailed design drawings and specifications, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings.
Source materials and products, and liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery and installation.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Provide guidance to clients on furniture, fixture, equipment selection, accessories, and artwork.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of work performed by contractors and vendors to ensure adherence to design specifications and industry standards.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in interior design, and use this knowledge to inform your design concepts and recommendations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
No experience is required as training will be provided
Strong design skills, including space planning, color theory, and material selection.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
